It started with one question: why do parents hear last?
In 2009, most schools still ran on registers, printed circulars and phone calls. Parents found out about an absence, a fee due date or a test result days later, if at all, and a great deal of paper went home in school bags.
Schoolcanvas began as Parentsalarm.com, with one simple aim: give parents a daily update on their child, straight from the school. Schools liked it, and asked for more: attendance, fees, homework, the school bus, report cards. One module became many.
Today Schoolcanvas is a complete school ERP with 50+ modules and 500+ ready reports, used by more than 1000 schools across the country. It has grown into Assist, an AI-powered LMS for teachers, and now Schoolcanvas Learn, a learning app for students. The idea at the centre has not changed: everyone around a child should know what they need to know, on time.
